Our mission statement

At Oasis Academy Warndon, we understand the need for children to have the best of starts in life. We believe we can offer you this. We want to work with you in partnership, in caring for your child. Oasis offers a safe, secure and stimulating environment. The emotional, social and physical development of all the children in our care is our primary concern. We ensure equality of opportunity for all children. We promote self-respect and a respectful, caring attitude towards others and our environment. Our staff have been carefully chosen for their ability, dedication and love of children, in addition to their qualifications.

Our ethos is an expression of our character - it is a statement of who we are and therefore the lens through which we assess all we do. The work of Oasis is motivated and inspired by the life, message and example of Christ. This is encapsulated by the following five statements:

  • a passion to include everyone
  • a desire to treat everyone equally, respecting differences
  • a commitment to healthy and open relationships
  • a deep sense of purpose that things can change and be transformed
  • a sense of perseverance to keep going for the long haul
